Amadou & Mariam's music video for "La Vie est Belle" is finally out!

The legendary Malian music duo, Amadou & Mariam, released their new single, "La Vie est Belle," on September 4th. This previously unreleased track, produced in collaboration with the brilliant British producer Busy Twist, was the final single taken from their new greatest hits album of the same name, which was launched on September 6th.

The music video was entrusted to artist and illustrator Marie Susanyan. “Through the animated video for «La Vie est Belle», we are transported to the streets of Bamako, where a motorcyclist and his bike transform the city and its inhabitants by broadcasting music on the radio. It first affects the bike, and then, under the influence of its smoke, it changes the city’s desaturated landscapes into an explosion of bright, vivid colors. This animated video celebrates the beauty of daily life in a setting that reflects the artists' origins. «La Vie est Belle» is an ode to the joy of living and to the transformative impact of music on our lives."
